As per the Swachhta Action Plan, on 17th December 2023, the staff of ICAR-CRIDA and the students of IARI Hyderabad hub undertook cleaning and sanitation drive within the campus and residential areas. The participants removed the debris, plastic materials, broken glass pieces, weeds from the block attached to the guest house. The participants also segregated the biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste from the site for the safe disposal. About 100 staff members and students participated in the event.

The event was organised by a team of scientists, namely Dr. Ravikant Adake, Dr Suvana Sugumaram and Dr. Savitha Santosh, from ICAR-CRIDA in Hyderabad. Shri Vittal Chindar, the Gram Panchayat Sarpanch, was also present. The event was attended by 70 farmers from the Chindanoor village.
